The North Port Amateur Radio Club, was founded in 2003, and is a club located in North Port Florida.

Our membership is dedicated to serving the community and spreading the awareness of Amateur Radio. Just say what is Amateur Radio to any of our members, and they will chew your ear for an hour. We have several events every year, including National Field Day sponsored by the ARRL. We also work closely with the North Port EOC during periods of emergency.

If you are new to the Hobby, or thinking about becoming a Ham, or are an old hat at it, please stop by. Our regular meeting are the second Wednesday of every month, at 7:00pm.  We are conveniently located at the main North Port Fire and Rescue Station, 4980 City Center Boulevard North Port, FL 34286.  Please stop by, as all are welcome.

We also have a 2-meter net, every Tuesday at 8:00pm, on 147.120 with a PL Tone 136.5HZ. You do not need to be a member to participate in our net. Join our 40 Meter net on 7.215 every Thursday at 8:00pm.

If you like good donuts, stop by Abbe's Donuts in North Port Wednesday mornings at 9:00am. If you have any questions about our club, feel free to email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
